One of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile!!

This movie is not funny. It is dull and predictable. No one in the audiene laughed during the viewing that I attended. This is a TV-level production.

The only reason someone wouldn't like this movie is if they've truly forgotten what it's like to get dumped by that one girlfriend that you thought you'd be with forever. That's what this movie plays on. For the people that say the story is 'unbelievable', exactly which of Apatow's previous hits were? They were all, for the most part, about how we (the audience) would/should FEEL in those situations, not what we would DO. They're all about empathizing with the main-character and being on his/her side as he does the things that we would want to do. That is why I'm giving this 5-stars. Laughs all the way through for me and my date.

Easily the best comedy of the year, so far. 5 stars hands down.

I found this movie kind of boring. It seemed to be 2 hours of Jason Segel indulging in full frontal nudity and jokes that are only funny to him. I actually like Jason in his other tv roles. I guess he just isn't leading actor material. I really went to this movie because of Russell Brand. Even though he was good in his part, he seems out of place with the rest of the cast. Wouldn't recommend anyone spend the big bucks to see this in the theatre. Wait for the dvd.

Some audience members were enjoying this film,but I only had a couple of smiles.I guess that I am getting too old, as what passes for humour is nudity,vulgar language and an unbelievable story.The secondary actors were much more interesting.Not enough laughs to even rent.

Fantastic, hilarious and well done, but not ridiculous. Easily 5 stars, these guys' movies just get better and better!

Loved the movie - can't understand it only has 2 stars? Its the first movie in a long time that my wife and I found to be laugh-out-loud funny! I would watch this movie again!
